- Tues 18:30 and Thurs 17:45: Dynamic Flow. Suitable for those with some experience of yoga, or beginners with some level of fitness. A dynamic class working on progressing from the foundations of moving in alignment. Align the mind, body and soul, in a challenging practice that harnesses Agni, our inner fire. Agni is the energy of transformation. Transform with creative, improvised, and embodied movement flows. Whilst asanas may be repeated, the sequence varies every week. This helps to promote mental, physical, and emotional benefits in cultivating focus and breath awareness to move with strength, control and fluidity. Improve creativity, adaptability to change, and manage stress. Build and maintain powerful body weight strength, dynamic mobility, co-ordination, flexibility, balance and endurance.
- Wed and Fri 09:30: Align and Flow. Suitable for all, particularly beginners to yoga or exercise, who may have health/fitness concerns. A moderately challenging class working on the foundations of moving in alignment. Align the mind, body and soul, in a practice to awaken the energy of Agni, our inner fire. Awaken with creative, improvised, and embodied movement flows. Whilst asanas may be repeated, the sequence varies every week. This helps to promote mental, physical, and emotional benefits in cultivating focus and breath awareness to move with strength, control and fluidity. Improve creativity, adaptability to change, and manage stress. Build and maintain functional strength, mobility, co-ordination, flexibility, and balance.
- Restorative Meditation. Monthly and bi-monthly classes. Suitable for everyone who is in need of some time out, to simply soothe the mind, body and soul, A chance to step away from sensory overload with a quietly powerful practice, to focus on just ‘being’ for a while. This class blends Restorative Yoga and Yoga Nidra Meditation, with Building Emotional Resilience through Yoga, and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction. With the comfort of props, be guided into calm meditative rest. Learn to completely relax and recharge in a peaceful supportive environment, and let go of attachment to the unnecessary.
- Yin Stretch. Bi-monthly class. Suitable for everybody including absolute beginners to yoga. In this class, we slow down with a calm focus to release stiffness and tension. Guided by the breath and with the help of yoga props, explore holding various static poses for longer. This allows time to train the brain and body to release muscle tightness. Which helps to increase passive and active flexibility for better range of motion.
